The University of Miami Frost Chorale presents their first full concert with new Director of Choral Studies, Dr. Joshua Habermann, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Miami Beach on October 24th at 8pm. The program, based on John Corigliano’s L’invitation au voyage, is a linguistic and musical journey taking the audience through France, Germany, and Latin America. It includes the charming Chantez by Jules Massenet,Anton Bruckner’s prayerful Os justi, and the powerful Lamentations of Jeremiah by Alberto Ginastera, among other works. With a multicultural variety of sacred and secular works, the evening will be a musical odyssey for all.
