WANTED: Male singers who are great with harmonies for a new Music Concert called "Do-Wop Boys Gone Wild!"
Looking for strong voices- Tenors, Baritones, and Basses of all ages. You must have personality and be able to move- there will be "moves" set to this music- if you're able to read music- that helps!
Please contact me at once for an audition (contact info below). Show dates are Sat. & Sun. September 27-28 on Miami Beach. Rehearsals will begin in early September. This is a paying gig!
"Do-Wop Boys Gone Wild!" is the newest endeavor from Artistic Director and Singer David Kingery. It is a new music review paying tribute to the Do-Wop groups of the 50's and 60's including the Coasters, the Platters, The Four Seasons, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Temptations and many other groups that'll have you clapping, snapping and tapping your feet. Four great male singers (including Kingery himself) will croon and bop at this one-of-a-kind production only Arts at St. John's can produce.

Auditions for Tenor cantor/choral section leader
are currently being held at the Cathedral of St. Mary. The commitment includes one Thursday evening rehearsal and one 10:00am Sunday Mass weekly, as well as Holy Days, Ordinations, and occasional concerts. Sightreading, leadership, and cantor skills are essential; the pay is very competitive. Please pass this on to any singers you know who may be interested. Full time Associate in Music for Jr. and Sr. High Choirs for 2600 member congregation with a history of traditional choral and instrumental music. The candidate must have a degree in music and at least 5 years experience with skills in voice building and be able to direct and accompany simultaneously; organ skills a plus but not necessary. Required also is a Christian background in Protestant worship and excellent skills in relating to teenagers, adults, and a multiple staff. Must work closely with the Youth Minister and a vital youth program. The high school choir sings weekly in worship, performs a Broadway Musical in the winter and takes a summer choir tour each year. BOCA RATON SINGERS
We're looking for a few good men! TENORS AND BASSES ONLY!
The Boca Raton Singers holds auditions on Monday evenings with appointments in the choral room of Spanish River High School on Jog Road and Yamato in Boca Raton. The 30 member male and female chorus has performed at various venues in the area including Kravis Center (West Palm Beach), The Crest theatre (Delray Beach) The Countess de Hoernle Theatre and Willow Theatre (Boca Raton). Rehearsals take place at Spanish River High School on Monday nights from 7-9 PM. Registration is $50 per season. You will be judged on vocal blending, sight reading and pitch precision.
