Organist Position Available
St. Matthew the Apostle Episcopal Church in Miami is seeking a permanent, part-time organist/choir director for our Sunday 10:30 a.m. service, with rehearsal at 9:00 a.m. before the service. We would like someone who plays both the organ and piano and appreciates the use of classical, traditional, and contemporary music. The instruments you will be using are a 3 manual, Allen Renaissance draw knob and a Roland digital piano. Salary will be commensurate with AGO standards.

WANTED: Male singers who are great with harmonies for a new Music Concert called "Do-Wop Boys Gone Wild!"
Looking for strong voices- Tenors, Baritones, and Basses of all ages. You must have personality and be able to move- there will be "moves" set to this music- if you're able to read music- that helps! "Do-Wop Boys Gone Wild!" is the newest endeavor from Artistic Director and Singer David Kingery. It is a new music review paying tribute to the Do-Wop groups of the 50's and 60's including the Coasters, the Platters, The Four Seasons, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Temptations and many other groups that'll have you clapping, snapping and tapping your feet. Four great male singers (including Kingery himself) will croon and bop at this one-of-a-kind production only Arts at St. John's can produce.

The Boca Raton Singers holds auditions on Monday evenings with appointments in the choral room of Spanish River High School on Jog Road and Yamato in Boca Raton. The 30 member male and female chorus has performed at various venues in the area including Kravis Center (West Palm Beach), The Crest theatre (Delray Beach) The Countess de Hoernle Theatre and Willow Theatre (Boca Raton). Rehearsals take place at Spanish River High School on Monday nights from 7-9 PM. Registration is $50 per season. You will be judged on vocal blending, sight reading and pitch precision. No prepared solo is necessary.
